Beginner friendly Hatha-inspired yoga classes at Moonshell Sanctuary, Troedyrhiw

A welcoming, Hatha-inspired yoga class for anyone who wants to understand what they’re doing, why they’re doing it and how it should feel. Expect slow, controlled movement with a focus on connecting breath and movement, building body awareness and finding a little more space to unwind. You’ll be guided through common yoga postures and simple sequences, with plenty of explanation and options to suit your individual ability. There’s no need to be flexible or experienced — just come as you are. Each class finishes with a period of relaxation, leaving you feeling calmer, more connected to your body and ready to take on the rest of your week. Disclaimer: Please note that Moonshell operates at two locations, we will be practicing at Moonshell Sanctuary based in Troedyrhiw. Please ensure that you attend the correct location. Refunds will not be given if you attend the wrong location. Please arrive 5 minutes early to allow time to settle in. New to yoga?

You're welcome here

01

Not flexible?

Flexibility is not an entry requirement. You will be offered choices and time to find what works for you.

02

Never done yoga?

No pose names, special clothes or experience needed. The class starts with the basics at a manageable pace.

03

Feeling nervous?

You can rest, ask questions and take things at your own pace. There is no pressure to keep up.

My approach

Beginner-first, without the performance.

Classes are designed to make room for real bodies, real questions and the occasional wobbly moment. Clear guidance, options and a calm pace help you feel at home from the first session.

  • Small classes with a slower introduction
  • Plain language and practical options
  • Rest is always part of the practice
  • Support before you walk into the room

Meet your teacher

Yoga can be a place to start, not somewhere you have to fit in.

Sian teaches with the belief that everybody deserves an approachable first experience.
